ial strength and high ethical standard. - Conduct pricing research and source potential suppliers and Contractors. - Manage, implement and periodically review local procurement processes and procedures. - Prepare bidding documents, pre-qualifications of the bidders and conduct bidding as per Implementing Rules and Regulations. - Evaluate suppliers and contractors capacity to increase competition during the bid process. - Conduct supplier / contractors performance review to achieve continuous improvement. - Overseeing site control of equipment and materials, including goods receipt, storage and issuance. Verification of receipt of equipment, materials and services for invoice payment. - Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of budgeting. - Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and contractors. - Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase order in accordance with the government procurement policies. - Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with end-users and vendors to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action. - Perform other duties assigned. - Managing entire procurement department with key focus on in-time procurement with cost reduction without compromising on quality and to reduce inventory by planning to achieve bottom line profitability by ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
