.Should manage, schedule, prioritize, install, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and perform routine and preventative maintenance and skilled repairs on HVAC equipment such as: chillers, cooling towers, high/low pressure boilers, fan coil systems, variable air volume systems, air handler systems, evaporative coolers, and package-type unitary systems such as water and air source heat pumps and rooftop units, etc.
.Should maintain proficiency in and trains staff in the use of computer-operated central building control systems and coordinates the work of outside controls vendors.
.Should recover and recharge refrigeration systems.
.Should test and treat water in air-conditioning and heating systems.
.Should operate, program, adjust, and repair HVAC control systems such as pneumatic, electric, and direct digital controls.
.Should assist with the development of short and long-range plans for the routine, preventive, and major maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and equipment.
.Should perform building condition surveys and safety inspections and testing. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records on all District facilities.
.Should coordinate and oversee the on-site work of outside vendors and contractors.
.Should work with staff to correct deficiencies, disciplining, and completing performance evaluations.
