Ensures that the implementation is as per the contractors HSE plan, the OSHAS Standards and the local laws. .Conduct risk assessment and hazard identifications for all projects and activities. Provides education and training to entire project execution team including workers on HSE. .Determines potential of major accidents. Manages and coordinates tactical and operational response to incidents .Maintains contact with Emergency response team including external agencies like Fire Brigades, Government hospitals, clinics, local governing authorities etc .Coordinates with mutual aid companies along with the Clients (JOC). .Authorizes acquisition of response resources. .Acts as a Line in charge for management communication and communication with “the client” Contractor after approvals from Management. .Reports internal non-compliances by workers/managers on HSE Procedures and Safe practices. .Implements, manages and coordinates all safety induction programs, Safety training, Job Inductions. .Ensures distribution of all communication documents to workers on Health & Safety Plan. .Ensures all necessary safety measures taken and construction area is in a safe state. .Ensures construction site/affected areas are thoroughly evacuated prior to resuming construction operations. .Issues and signs final report on emergency. .Liaise with medical staff with respect to casualties incurred during incident. .Liaise for primary treatment facilities. .Ensures follow up on medical aid/services with external agencies. .Provides update on causalities status. .Provides case management information on all causalities. .Compiles a report on the effectiveness of the emergency response. .Submits findings to the management and incorporate action plans. ?The candidate should be holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering & a certified diploma in industrial safety and certified in OHSAS 30 hours, medic care, NEBOSH International General Certificate ?Excellent presentation skills and management information reporting capabilities are highly required. ?Ability to multitask and work as a highly energetic team player. ?Analytics and reporting skills are essential. ?Leadership traits in personality are expected. ?Excellent written and verbal English language is mandatory.
